Jasmin & Noel Figueroa - Wedding

I was able to capture Noel and Jasmin's wedding in May. Here are the photos that are long overdue!

When Jasmin had described her dress to me when we met, she said it was modern and different. I wasn't sure what to expect, but knew her taste in choosing her dress would be great and I wasn't disappointed. It was cute, modern and fun!
Two things Jasmin got to take home that night =)
Jasmin and Noel had their outdoor ceremony at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello. I loved it because it gave me the opportunity to shoot from different angles.
This moment is really touching and glad I was able to capture it right at the precise moment. I can only imagine this is the moment every dad dreads in a way, giving his little girl away. But giving their daughter away to the right man is what a father really wants, and that is exactly the case with Noel.
Steve's view was pretty cool too.

Can you say stunning bride?!
I tried a little bit of a vintage effect for the next two sets.
They had a brief moment to themselves before it was time to celebrate.
I loved the father-daughter dance. It was definitely different. Jasmin chose a song her dad used to love singing to them when young. It was so cute watching Jasmin getting showered with kisses from her dad.
The Mother-Son dance was definitely an emotional one. My eyes were getting watery behind the camera. I'm sure I wasn't the only one fighting back tears.
Thanks for letting me be part of your day!

Baby Kelem Sielh- Baby Portraits

One of my favorite things of photographing a baby is seeing all their cute expressions, and in this photo shoot you will see many. Sielh and his family moved out of state, and when they knew they were coming back for a visit they called me to schedule a portrait session for Siehl.
Something about Sielh is that he is always dressed uber cute. Sielhs mommy Lauren and grandmother ( who is way too young to be a grandmother by the way =) ) are extremely talented and design and make some of his clothes. As a matter of fact, they are starting their own little business, 'Le Coria Bebe', and who else would be perfect to model but their own little handsome prince.

I took advantage of some photos of Sielh when he was asleep to capture his cute little features. This is Sielh at 14 months.
Once he was up and running, his beautiful mommy changed him to his custom made clothes.

When you start seeing this cute face you know it is time for a break and a wardrobe change.
This little chair has a lot of history. It was the same one his grandma used when she was a baby.

The guayabera shirt in this set was purchased when Lauren first found out she was pregnant.
It was the perfect moment to finally wear it.
This next sailor outfit was so adorable!!!
One of the challenging things of photographing babies is getting them to stay where they are. The next two pictures is proof that once they are able to walk, they walk away fast from the camera, but either way, I just l love these next two.
These next photos were taken in September '09. I want to show them because I haven't blogged about them yet. We did a photo shoot with Sielh's beautiful mommy (which I will blog about soon, I promise!) and once we were done I took a couple of pics of her with her baby Sielh. This was Sielh at about 7 months.
